DESCRIPTION:
This steering rack was removed from a 2000 Z3 2.3 Roadster with ~164k miles. This is the quicker 2.7-ratio rack, not the slower 3.2-ratio unit used on Z3M and E36 applications. Tie rods are not included. The input shaft splines have some light surface rust, but there is no deep pitting or serious damage. Rack movement is smooth and quiet with no binding or irregular play. The housing has some light oxidation from normal use. Details can be viewed in the photos. Guaranteed good working condition. This is a used original BMW part.
